FIDDLER Vassar Clements has a way of keeping good company, whether it's Bill Monroe, Earl Scruggs, the Nitty Gritty Dirt band or even Stephane Grappelli. His latest album, "Grass Routes," is very much in keeping with that tradition, featuring a cast that includes mandolinist Jesse McReynolds, banjoist J. D.
