YAKIMA - D. Dale Cobleigh of Selah, 82, passed away May 28, 2007 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

Dale was born March 9, 1925 in Phoenix, Oregon to Guy and Bertha Cobleigh. He was the second of three children. Dale grew up in the Phoenix-Medford area, graduating in 1943 from Phoenix High School. He was a notable member of the Phoenix football team playing both offense and defense due to the small number of students at the school and on the team.
