YAKIMA - Nola Mae Jeanette Holbrook, 60, surrounded by her family and loved ones, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, February 7, 2007. She passed away after a courageous two-and-a-half year battle with cancer. She is joined in Heaven by her father, Uriel Roland Fox; her mother, Wanda Fox; and step-daughter, Jana Tweten.

Nola was born in a small cabin by Archie Creek. Botkinburg, Arkansas, was the closest town a few miles away. During her early years, she and her parents traveled to Yakima every summer and fall to pick fruit. They resided at the ...
