YAKIMA - The world lost a wonderful man on Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006,
as Joseph McKenna, 72, of Yakima, passed away in his favorite chair
of his Yakima home. McKenna went peacefully on Christmas Eve, as
family and friends gathered to say goodbye to a devout Irish-
Catholic who changed the world for the better for everyone he shared
time with in his life.
McKenna was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 25, 1934 to Joseph
and Matilda (Stone) McKenna. He met his wife of 54 years, Barbara
Helen Harding, in New York, where the two created a beautiful family ...
