Yakima Live! downtown -- It's 'everything under the sun'

Barbara Greco is hopping on the street-renaming bandwagon.

Greco, the executive director of For A Better Tomorrow, is looking to call Yakima Avenue the "Fun Zone" -- at least on Saturday.

That's when several blocks of downtown Yakima will be closed for Yakima Live!, a free, daylong festival that promises "everything under the sun." (And according to AccuWeather, sun is what we should have plenty of, although a few evening showers are possible. Highs are predicted to be in the mid-80s, lows in the upper 40s.)
