It's still too soon to tell just how high the "Hollywood Madam"
affair will rank in the pantheon of sex-for-hire scandals. The Heidi
Chronicles make for good reading, but in many respects, it's the same
old story. After all, Heidi Fleiss's alleged calling isn't known as
"the world's oldest profession" for nothing.
While possible revelations could prove troublesome to a few stars,
Heidi certainly isn't going to bring down Hollywood, let alone a
national government, as Christine Keeler did in England's 1962
Profumo affair; and while the "rich kid from a respectable family
gets her hands ...
