Selah-area voters have a splendid opportunity to invest in the
community's future with approval of bond and special levy ballot
issues to underwrite one of the most ambitious, supportable sports
efforts in the area's history.
The dual proposals are a $3.95 million bond issue over 20 years to
underwrite four different projects and a six-year special levy to pay
for maintenance and operation of the facilities. Taken together, the
two would cost about $45 per year for every $100,000 of a property's
assessed valuation, with $30 of that amount going for the bond issue.
