Razing of Church Leaves Congregation Homeless

TOPPENISH -- This week's demolition of the 4th Avenue Community
Church left not only an empty lot at the corner of Fourth Avenue and
Elm Street, but a congregation homeless.
And frustration over sale of the church has led to the resignation
of a pastor.
The building, owned by the Pacific Conference of the Evangelical
