Lance Den Boer is becoming a different animal.

Den Boer, who became the state's prep career scoring leader during a four-year career at Sunnyside Christian, has ended his days as a Washington State Cougar and will become a Central Washington Wildcat.

The 6-foot-6 Den Boer confirmed Wednesday that he has signed an institutional letter of intent with Central and will leave WSU after completing final exams.
