Schultz Wins Junior Net Title

Ciara Schultz topped Angela Houser 7-5, 6-1, in an all-Yakima Girls 16 "A" singles final of last week's Yakima Valley Junior Championships, which drew nearly 200 players from all over the Pacific Northwest to the Yakima Tennis Club.

For Schultz, it was her second major victory in two weeks, having taken the 16 "A" singles of the Yakima City Tournament.

Brooke Foster of Yakima took the girls 14 "A" singles title without dropping a set.
