Memphis, Tenn. - George William Charcalis, 54, passed away after a long illness on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006.

Born and raised in Concord, he was a graduate of Concord High School, class of 1970, and of the University of New Hampshire in 1974. He worked for many years in the restaurant and hotel industry, here in Concord in the family's business, Star Hot Dog, and in San Antonio and Houston, Texas, and Memphis, Tenn.

Mr. Charcalis was the son of Katherine Pappas Charcalis and the late William George Charcalis. He also leaves a sister and brother- in-law in Germantown, Tenn., Helen and Bruce ...
