MANCHESTER, Vt. -- Joseph E. Fowler, 87, died Saturday, June 4,
2005, at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, Vt., with
his family by his side.
Joe was born Feb. 9, 1918, in Manchester, Vt., the son of Paul and
Edith Fowler.
Mr. Fowler graduated from Burr & Burton in 1935, then attended
Cross City College and the National University of Law.
He served in the Army from 1943 to 1946.
Mr. Fowler owned and operated the Fowler Insurance Agency until
his retirement in 1986.
He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Manchester,
Vt., the Manchester (Vt.) Rotary Club, the ...
