Obituary: Elaine C. Grant, LACONIA

LACONIA -- Elaine C. Grant, 80, of Davis Place, died Wednesday at
Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia.
She was born in Laconia, the daughter of Oley and Gladys
(Mansfield) Arnold.
She was a lifelong resident of Laconia and graduated from Laconia
High School in 1942.
Grant worked for Vernitron for many years. She also decorated
cakes for many years.
She was a former member of the Sweet Adelines and was a Cub Scout
den mother.
She enjoyed collecting postcards of covered bridges and old photos
of Laconia.
Survivors include a son, Michael Grant of Laconia; a brother,
