Mrs. Johnston worked at Howard Johnson's in Brockton for 15 years.
Born in Rockland, she graduated from Brockton High School.
She loved animals and playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert Johnston; two sons, Brian
Conner of Dorchester and John Conner of Quincy; two daughters, Karen
