Minor league umpires end strike; Accept 5-year pact, end 2-month strike; pay, expenses raised

Minor league umpires are headed back to work after a strike that
lasted nearly two months.
Members of the Association of Minor League Umpires voted over the
holiday weekend to accept a contract that will last through 2011,
according to a statement from Major League Baseball.
"We are happy to have reached a deal that will assure labor peace
