Say this for North Quincy High School boys hockey goalie Frank Sorrento about last night's 2-1 non-league victory over Archbishop Williams: He earned every bit of it.

Sorrento stopped 33 shots as the Red Raiders were outshot, 15-3, in the first period and 33-10 overall at Pilgrim Arena in Hingham.

"We stole it. My goaltender played outstanding," NQ coach Bob Doyle said. "To be honest, he looked like he might be a little nervous, overwhelmed, playing the big Catholic boys in their rink, but he settled in right away.

"We were a little fortunate tonight, but obviously it's still a huge win."
