An Arlington woman was shot and killed by her estranged husband yesterday, three weeks after complaining to authorities that the man threatened to kill her, police said.

Police found the body of Annie Pearl Bibbs, 29, in the bedroom of her apartment in the 900 block of South Buchanan Street, where she lived with her three children. Police said she had been shot several times.

Police said Bibbs was slain as she talked on the phone with a police dispatcher about 8:20 a.m.
