A monthlong investigation into drug dealing in East Braintree has resulted in the arrest of seven people, including a suspected leader of a ring that called itself the Big Money Crew.

The local arrests came after a SWAT team served search warrants at two Ardmore Street homes Thursday night.

While members of the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council SWAT team waited nearby, Braintree police detectives Jeffrey Jernegan, Brian Cohoon, David Jordan and Mark Sherrick, federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents and detectives assigned to the SWAT team's Investigative Services ...
