Russell Monroe said a longtime scouting retreat has given him "a lot" so he's paying back the debt by putting the finishing touches on renovations to one of the cabins at Camp Kiwanee.

The 17-year-old South Shore Vocational Technical High School senior is doing the work to attain his Eagle Scout patch. He is a member of Hanson Troop 97 and a vigil member of the Order of the Arrow Tisquantum Lodge.
