QUINCY - The 20th South Quincy Italian Festival is set for Sept
11. Rain date is Sept. 12.
The city license board yesterday granted a permit subject to
working out details for police coverage.
The annual festival traditionally held the weekend after Labor Day
will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Stephen Maze, a festival organizer,
said.
The event draws families and friends together to renew their ties
to South Quincy.
