Babe Ruth slept here, in northern New Hampshire

Room No. 2 at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge in North Conway, New
Hampshire is not just another quaint room in a 120-year-old New
England Bed and Breakfast inn. The rose and blue wallpaper and the
period furnishings have been maintained since the 1940s. The two twin
beds that were pushed together over 60 years ago to make one large
bed are still joined.
Why has this room been purposely frozen in time? Because of the
famous guest who used to stay here: a major-league slugger by the
name of George Herman "Babe" Ruth. Babe Ruth was a frequent guest at
the Cranmore Mountain Lodge when he visited ...
