COMMENTARY; Glenn Miller's music will live forever

I was 15 years old when Glenn Miller's airplane disappeared on
Dec. 15, 1944. Those of us who "knew" Glenn Miller and love that
music have never really gotten over the loss, because we knew no more
of that marvelous music would ever be coming from him again.
His music - including "In the Mood," "Moonlight Serenade,"
"Chattanooga Choo Choo," "Pennsylvania 6-5000" and "Tuxedo Junction,"
to name a few hit songs - is some of the greatest popular music ever
produced. Before joining the army in September 1942, Miller had the
