QUINCY - Mary E. Thiers, 70, of Quincy, retired accounts payable
supervisor and an Air Force veteran, died Sunday at home.
Miss Thiers worked many years at the Fore River Shipyard in
Quincy. She began her career with Bethlehem Steel and retired from
General Dynamics. After her retirement, she worked several years in
the loan department of the Quincy Center branch of Citizens Bank.
She served eight years in the Air Force and was a member of the
Women in Military Service for Americ...
