MILTON - Charles Hamlin Evans, 88, of Milton, a retired accountant
for a textile company, died Friday at Carney Hospital in Dorchester.
Mr. Evans worked for Green Textile Associates in Chestnut Hill for
40 years and retired in 1979.
He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary during World War II.
He was a member of the Milton Lodge of Masons and the Quincy Lodge
of Elks 943.
Born in Boston, he lived in Hyde Park before moving ...
