HOLBROOK - Edmund J. Balkan, 84, of Holbrook, a railroad inspector for 30 years, died Saturday at Bridgewater Nursing Home.

Mr. Balkan was a member of the Third Order of Franciscans of the Knights of Columbus in Holbrook.

He lived in Holbrook for more than 40 years.
