Legislator says candidate will help keep agricultural economy "strong and prosperous."

If a picture is worth a thousand words, it may be particularly valuable during a political campaign.

This morning, U.S. Rep. Joe Pitts and state senatorial candidate Mike Brubaker clasped hands and grinned for the camera.

With that, an elder statesman in Pennsylvania politics conferred his endorsement of Brubaker, a man hoping to represent the 36th District in the state senate.
