Strasburg Borough votes to create flood map ordinance

Strasburg Borough Council at its Feb. 14 meeting voted to create a
flood map ordinance. Federal Emergency Management Agency updated its
National Flood Insurance Program maps in April 2005. The agencys new
map of Strasburg Borough shows a flood zone in an area surrounding
Kendig Run that enters the northwest end of the borough and ends to
