Ricardo Curry begins his two-year march toward freedom today by reporting to a federal prison camp in Minersville, Schuylkill County.

There, the former city school district superintendent will serve a two-year prison sentence for defrauding the district in a phony consultant scheme.

"His spirits are upbeat," said his Philadelphia defense attorney Sidney Gold, who spoke with Curry Tuesday.
