Manheim diner changes hands ; Lyndon D. Quinn sells the Lyndon Diner for $1.7 million to a pair of Berks County restaurateurs. He'll keep his Lyndon City Line Diner.

The Lyndon Diner, a mainstay Manheim eatery since 1978, has changed ownership and no longer will carry the moniker of veteran diner operator Lyndon D. Quinn.

Quinn sold his original namesake location this week to Berks County-based restaurateurs Ahmad "Michael" Houir and Mazen "Mario" Rafai. Houir said the price was $1.7 million.

Quinn, who also briefly owned Zinn's Diner near Denver in 2003, will continue to own and run his Lyndon City Line Diner on Manheim Pike in Lancaster. Quinn and his wife, Crystal, simply intend to take life easier and spend more time with their children - ages 15, 9 ...
