BATTLE ROYAL; When Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine reunite in 'The Lion in Winter,' it's no ordinary family get-together

"This role was worth leaving home for," jokes Alison Edwards, who
is playing Eleanor of Aquitaine in the Fulton's production of "The
Lion in Winter," which opens tonight at the Fulton.
Edwards, who is based in New York and has spent a lot of time
working on the road, is getting a little pickier about accepting
roles that take her away from home.
"I spend most of my time outside of New York and I hope to change
that," she says. "I'm getting older, I like my home. The scales are
changing."
But getting another chance to play Eleanor was worth packing her
bags.
