Catherine Rupp's formula for living 100 years: Stay active
|
"Life is what you make of it," said Catherine B. Rupp, who is 100
years old today.
The Lancaster House South resident believes in being active. "I
went swimming at the Y twice a week until two years ago," she said.
For years, Catherine belonged to a hiking group that met on
College Avenue Saturday afternoons to take hiking trips to the
countryside.
She also went to an exercise class at Lancaster House South until
it disbanded, and she still exercises before she gets out of bed in
the morning.
"I'm the kind of person who wanted to try anything," she said.
