William C. Lenox III had a good role model in helping choose his path in life: his father.

"He is the most upright and honest person I have ever met a pillar of integrity,'' said the 48-year-old Lenox about his father, William C. Lenox II of Elizabethtown.

The younger Lenox, also the son of the late Ruth Easton Lenox and stepson of Jane Seymour Lenox, ascended to a key position this spring to become ethics counsel for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where he has worked for the past 11 years.
