Kenneth Ruhd, 82, of Cornplanter Road, Willow Street, formerly of Las Vegas and New Braunfels, Texas, died Tuesday evening at Homestead Village Inc. after a long illness.

An electronics engineer who installed radar systems, he worked with the U.S. Department of Defense for the U.S. Air Force at Kelly Air Force Base, San Antonio. In his younger years, he worked for the Civil Conservation Corps in Glacier Park, Mont.
