Concert series launches Otterbein UM centennial; The city church that bears the name "Otterbein'' in honor of a United Methodist forefather will fill its anniversary year calendar with another beloved Methodist tradition - plenty of music.

Take a drive along North Queen Street and you can't miss the
massive Gothic stone Otterbein United Methodist Church at the corner
of Queen and Clay streets.
Its spired bell tower may remind you of a castle.
Otterbein has been an anchor for the northern Lancaster City
neighborhood once known as Feagleysville for 100 years.
The church will observe its 100th anniversary with a yearlong
series of events including a concert series beginning with the Penn
State Concert Choir at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 21.
Lynn E. Drafall will conduct the concert at the church.
