County planners urge Conoy Twp. to closely study ethanol plants impact

The Lancaster County Planning Commission recommended Monday that Conoy Township look closely at the impacts of a proposed $80 million ethanol plant before rezoning land for the project.

An extensive review of the township comprehensive plan, which the county planners called for, could further delay the project.

Also, the county planners expressed their support for a plan to convert a vacant city factory into an apartment building.
