Audubon's blessed spot; John James Audubon's first American home is now the site of the National Audubon's Society's first visitor center in Pennsylvania.

AUDUBON - The National Audubon Society (NAS) has recently taken
over management of the Mill Grove Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary in
Audubon, Montgomery County.
It is the first visitor center in the state operated by the
national conservation organization.
In addition, Audubon Pennsylvania, a state chapter of NAS, is
adding a development office in King of Prussia, near the sanctuary.
The state chapter's primary office will remain in Harrisburg.
John James Audubon - perhaps the nation's most famous wildlife
artist - moved to Mill Grove, his first American home, in spring
1804.
