Tuesday was a day for young Farm Show exhibitors in Harrisburg to
say goodbye to their market animals they raised and befriended over
the past year.
It was also payday, as buyers seeking to support agriculture and
perhaps get some free press at the same time bid against each other
for the lambs, goats, swine and steer on the auction block.
Some of the 4-H and FFA students will use their paychecks to pay
for the animals they will raise for next year's fairs and
