William P. Kauffman, 80, of 3 Hill Road, Manheim, formerly of Reamstown, died of natural causes Tuesday morning in Ephrata Community Hospital, where he was a patient for five days.

Until retiring in 1999, Kauffman was employed by the former Pharmhouse, Ephrata, and Redners Warehouse Markets, Ephrata, for many years. He continued to work part time after retirement. He previously was an adjustor for various auto repair shops in the area.
