William Gilbert Sr., 63, Lancaster native

William B. Gilbert Sr., 63, of 213 Grayfield Drive, formerly of
404 Charles Road, died Friday at home following a lengthy illness.
He and his wife, Jean M. Gilbert, were married for 43 years on May
30. Born in Lancaster, he was a son of the late Nevin K. and Lucille
Stottlemyer Gilbert.
He retired from G&T Industries as a laborer in 1994, after three
years' employment. Prior to that, he worked for the former Denlinger
Lumber Co., Paradise, for 14 years.
