Will Grove's return give Ephrata a spark?

Ken Grove is back.

After a sabbatical to take classes and coach at Millersville University, he's back to call the shots in Ephrata.

"I'm starting to get familiar with things again," he reports. "A couple of things screwed me up a little bit, but not much."

Assistant coaches Lenny Harding and Pat Ross ran the show last year. And frankly, it wasn't a great year for Ephrata, which finished 1-6 in Section 2 and just 2-8 overall -- that after an 8-2 season that nearly culminated with a trip to Districts.

Things that seemed so simple the year before were suddenly puzzling. Plays that went for TDs ...
