He's a little older now, and his hair has a little more gray, but Peter Hahn is still intense and passionate when he talks.

Only now, instead of that intensity being applied to the law or to politics -- or even to Pitt football -- it's given to the church.

Seven years after Hahn resigned from Lancaster City Council and left his legal career to enter the seminary, the Lancaster native is back home, preparing for the final step in his journey of faith.

Hahn will be ordained a priest in a June 1 ceremony in Harrisburg. The next day, he will celebrate his first Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, ...
