Beef banquet, swine soiree; 4-H clubs recognize top achievements at annual awards event

Five county 4-H clubs banded together Friday at the Farm & Home Center to host their annual awards banquet, honoring members for their achievements with cattle, goats, sheep and swine.

Winter is club banquet season for 4-H. With the stress of fall fairs and the January farm show behind them, club members sit back and remember what they've accomplished in the past year. But they can't rest too long -- spring is just around the corner.
