Falconry, once touted as the Sport of Kings, has fallen from its
lofty perch in this age of democracy. But it's still not for
everyone.
Anyone considering participation in falconry must have an
inordinate love for raptors, have ample time for daily care (feeding,
training and meticulous housekeeping) and be able to deal with
unrequited love.
There is no such thing as "me, me, me" among falconers. Everything
is about the bird.
