of term at Cirencester College, I count 15 of us. But it would seem
that I have missed a few. "There's Chief Joseph, the Native American,
standing at the back of the room," says Sharon Cound, the teacher.

I spin round to greet the great Indian chief, also known as
Thunder Travelling Over Loftier Mountains, and there, right before my
