HUNDREDS OF Bushmen evicted from their Kalahari homelands have suffered what some would see as the final indignity: being paraded before British MPs as part of a lavish public relations campaign by the Botswanan government.

In a frantic effort to win over international opinion as a landmark court action begins tomorrow, Botswanan officials have begun escorting foreign dignitaries to the remote desert enclave where they say the Bushmen have been relocated for their own good.
