Paris offers EU newcomers crash course in French Battle to defend Gallic culture against the rise of English rages in Europe's corridors of power

FRANCE HAS opened a new front in its battle to defend Gallic culture from the encroachment of the English language by offering crash courses in French to senior diplomats from the 10 countries about to join the European Union.

Alarmed at the growing dominance of l'Anglo Saxonne even within the multi-lingual EU, France is promising all-expenses-paid courses for top officials of the mostly eastern European countries joining in May.
