In my publication on trans-sexualism, I gave the very rare medical circumstances that had to exist to allow the British authorities to correct a birth certificate (News & Comment, December 21). I use the word correct and not change because the birth certificate is a historical document which records, among other things, the facts of one's sex at the time of birth and, regardless of subsequent events, nothing can change these facts.

Indeed, trans-sexuals do not change their sex but only become simulacra of the opposite sex. Castration and the ingestion of large doses of opposite sex hormones ...
