The Bad Fairies were out in force at last Saturday's christening of Natalia Makarova's new Sleeping Beauty. The good fairies of Generosity, Eloquence and Temperament were all on the Royal Ballet's guest list as usual, but no one was expecting Mishap, Injury and Ineptitude to turn up and spoil the party.
