No cure for potato blight

Elspeth Thompson in her Urban Gardener article (Magazine, July 28) referred to the problems of potato blight and tomato blight and described methods of control by using copper fungicide, or Bordeaux mixture as an organic alternative. The principle active ingredient in Bordeaux mixture is, in fact, copper sulphate, which she should know.
