A message from the Negev

We, members of the European Council of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, wish to express our abhorrence at the idea of an academic boycott of Israel. We believe it infringes the fundamental concept of academic freedom and restricts the flow of knowledge, which benefits all mankind.

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev is at the cutting edge of research in desert studies, drylands agriculture and water research, areas of critical importance to the Middle East and to much of the developing world.
